The Temple PRSSA chapter has spent the last semester conceptualizing and planning what will be our largest event to date: The Temple Invitational. The invitational is a one-day conference for students and young professionals, hosted on Temple’s campus. Not only will we be providing a day filled with awesome guest speakers and a chance to network with other students, we will be bringing back some of SMC’s finest alumni to network and offer their own advice to hopeful public relations students.

We are thrilled to introduce our TU Invite keynote speaker, Cassandra Bailey! Cass, Principal at Slice Communications in Philadelphia, brings a wide variety of experiences to PR and social media strategies. Cass has worked for top PR agencies in Philadelphia as well as starting her career at Ketchum Public Relations in Washington, DC.

Cass is excited to share with us why “different is better than better” and other coined “Cass-isms”. She will help us navigate the world of PR, particularly in Philly, in a fun way, as well as remind us to be ourselves and to stand out in order to land that perfect internship or job!
